Strip EXIF / GPS
Re-encode a photo so GPS and camera EXIF do not ride along to a listing or a group chat.
How to use
- 1Drop the photo.
- 2Run strip.
- 3Download the cleaned JPEG and keep the original elsewhere if you still need the map pin.
FAQ
- Is metadata 100% gone?
- Re-encoding drops the usual EXIF/GPS. Weird sidecar formats can still exist — this is the common case.
- Does the picture look worse?
- JPEG re-encode can nibble quality. Use a high-quality original.
- Do you store what I type?
- Browser tools stay in this tab. Refreshing the page clears the form. Nothing is saved to a Pulse account.
- Is this free?
- Yes. Pulse stays free because of advertising. Ads may appear when you copy, download, or run the main action.
